INDOOR TENNIS AT ABINGDON (2009-10)

Once again we have booked courts on Friday evenings for the winter season. The expected format will consist of mixed doubles, with five pairs each playing every other pair. These sessions have proved popular in the past and we hope that all members will enjoy the opportunity to extend club sessions in the winter months, whatever the weather outside.

Courts are booked from 8.00pm to 10.00pm on the following dates:

2009                                                               2010

2^nd and 16^th October                     8^th and 22^nd January

6^th and 20^th November                             5^th and 19^th February

4^th December                               5^th and 19^th March

The cost will be £6.50 per session, covering the hire of courts and the use of new balls.

If you wish to take part, please reply to Chris Gray by Sunday, 20^th September, stating, at this stage, on which of the dates up to Christmas you will be available. Also give your contact details since it may be necessary to contact you at the last minute. A rota will then be drawn up to allocate places and enable you to arrange transport. If, after the rota is published, you are then unable to play on a designated day, please try to arrange your own substitute and also inform me (preferably by telephone as my computer is not in constant use).
